At the 2009 event, the Marina Lions Club and Marina Leos Club made a special effort to make the event a success. The Lions serves over 400 HD lunches to the attending children, and, the Leos helped the kids with "holiday" projects ("sock" snowmen and ornaments) while the kids waited to see Santa and Mrs. Clause.
