Creating a green screen composite starts by filming a subject in front of an evenly lit, bright green (or blue) background. Our 240 sq. ft. green screen is made from a fabric called Lastolite, a finely knitted material that does not crease and is far superior to paper or paint. It is also reversible in case we need blue. The captured footage is then taken into our compositing software where we replace the green with another image, CGI or video footage known as the background plate. Using this technique we can place you anywhere. A common application for us is to place the filmed subject in a branded 3D virtual studio for corporate videos. Another is for TV commercial production where we want to have the filmed subject interact with things that would otherwise be impossible to film. A good example of this is the Just Ask Baby webisodes viewable in our portfolio, where we concepted and created the 60 webisodes that contained two 3D environments, a 'talk show' set and a 'child's bedroom' set. Using green screen allowed us to have a nine-month old baby boy named Joey appear to host an educational talk show about...babies! We shot all of the live action in our green screen studio; a total of 360 minutes of finished material. When done right, the illusion is very effective. The biggest challenge when setting up a blue screen or green screen is even lighting and the avoidance of shadow, because it is best to have as narrow a color range as possible that has to be replaced ...

I finally found this VHS tape after bidding for hours on ebay. Well, it turns out Godfrey Ho made his own rip-off of Space Dreams. Of course, there is no Ooze 1. This is also known as Ooze- Man of Both Friendly Evil. There is a lot of communist propoganda in it, and I'm surprised it was ever even released in the United States, since this was 1986, before the fall of the Soviet Empire. But, it's only theatrical release was in Korea, and in America it went straight to video. Of course, like most Godfrey Ho films, it's actually two spliced together. One is about a man fighting Tiger Men, which is the more interesting one, (but sadly, no Pierre Kirby,) and the other is about a man searching for the secret of Space Dreams. That one is of course the movie that directly steals footage from my film, Space Dreams. The Tiger Men one actually steals footage from the NeverEnding Story, and has a blue-screen effect of the actor behind Gizmo from Gremlins that they constantly reuse. In the original non-dubbed version, Space Dreams was called the Dimension of Friendly Evil, but I guess in America it would have appealed to a wider audience if it were more related to something they already knew, therefore almost marketing it as a sequel. In fact, a version was dubbed into German and released in Germany under the name Space Dreams 2. But sadly, all VHS copies and film prints of that version were lost. In 1992, it was released in Mexico with subtitles under the name The NeverEnding Story 4 ...

Jack Warner - Are You Having Any Fun?/Bunger Up Of Rat 'Oles (1940) Jack Warner OBE (24 October 1895 -- 24 May 1981) was an English film and television actor, and Comedian. He was born in London, his real name being Horace John Waters. His sisters Elsie and Doris Waters were well-known comediennes under the names Gert and Daisy. Like them, Jack Warner made his name in music hall and radio, but he became known to cinema audiences as the patriarch in a trio of popular post-World War II family films beginning with Here Come the Huggetts. He also co-starred in the 1955 Hammer film version of The Quatermass Xperiment and as a police superintendent in the 1955 Ealing Studios black comedy The Ladykillers. It was in 1949 that Warner first played the role for which he would be remembered, PC George Dixon in the film, The Blue Lamp. One observer predicted, "This film will make Jack the most famous policeman in Britain". Although the police constable was shot dead in the film, the character was revived in 1955 for the BBC television series, Dixon of Dock Green, which ran until 1976. In later years though, Warner and his long-past-retirement-age character were confined to a less prominent desk sergeant role. The series had a prime-time slot on Saturday evenings, and always opened with PC Dixon giving a little soliloquy to the camera, beginning with the words, "Good evening, all". Throughout his short life, they have been giving Murad opium "so he calms down and rests", and to banish any pains. For this baby born into addiction, recovery seems almost impossible. Yet others with addiction forged in the crucible of poverty and war refuse to accept that there is no hope. "If there is a job...Why choose addiction?" says Ekhtyal, his once handsome face now lopsided thanks to a bullet gone astray during the war. From a pockmarked Kabul squat to the desiccated northern plains, the oblivion of opium has become the last resort. Mothers across the remote regions of Afghanistan know they shouldn't do it - but when her baby has a stomach-ache, Khoshan gives "her a puff to calm down her pain so she won't die." When challenged she sobs: "There wasn't...There wasn't a doctor." It's a matter of days before Khoshan and her daughter go to the newly opened rehabilitation clinic.
