I found a glitch in Psychonauts that is going to be helpful in the speedrun I'm doing. Now, when you hit the water in Psychonauts, a hand will boost you back up, letting you get a little extra distance to reach a ledge, giving you a safety net if you miss a jump. This will happen twice, and then the third time it happens the hand will drag you under the water, and you'll be sent back to a certain place near the shore of the water. Now, the glitch. If you press skip after the hand drags you under, you can skip the animation of being drowned and crawling out of the water near the shore. I found once while spamming skip and jump, that for some reason if you do it at the right time (Read: Spamming skip and jump VERY fast), you don't get teleported back to the other place, you stay where you are and jump. This gives you some extra distance to make the jump, and lets you get to Milla earlier than you should. Unfortunately this doesn't give levitation early, so that's no use. However, you can skip having to get the boat entirely, which saves time, and I'll use it in Lungfishopolis, where you can get to Kochamara island without killing the planes at all, which will save me a lot of time.
