This is a playthrough of the Descent 2 mission pack: The Enemy Within. It is played on Trainee for various reasons, but mainly to show every single secret in every level of the mission set. It also helps me in showing some nice dog-fighting sequences where in higher skill levels, I'd be a lot more timid in my fighting tactics. Also featured is the amazing work of Diedel on his Descent 2 upgrade program: D2X-XL. It features effects like colored lighting, smoke, tracers, coronas and so much more to the original game! There are some issues to be aware of with this series of videos: 1) Due to some hardware limitations in recording this graphically intensive game, there is no sound. So I replaced it with the actual background music you would be hearing normally when playing the level. 2) There is some jittering and skipping in various parts of each video, this is also due to the intensive nature while recording it. 3) Also due to the immense size of the videos upon recording, I had to break it up into smaller chunks for larger levels, which is why I typically cut each video off before it gets above 5 mins. Divesite: Abu Lahami North (camp Wadi Lahami; Red sea diving safari's) We saw a Hawkbill turtle coming our way. The turtle was very curious but we were not sure whether it would bite or not. The first diver it went to swam back but it came closer and closer. She was a bit afraid of it. I drew closer and the attention of the turtle went to me. Very nice to see it swim so close nearby. Then the turtles attention went to some other divers with a camera. You can see how the diver tries to avoid being touched/bitten.

Nobel...oh the pain... Actually, I think Nobel is bad, yet underrated. I won't deny it: you'll have trouble getting over 200 damage per combo if you're not in Berserker mode...in a practical fight anyways. The beam hula hoop has oddball tracking, and the assist has no health yet will always try to block beam shots (hint: it doesn't actually block them). Also, unlike similar abilities such as Trans-AM or NT-D, Berserker does not cancel if you're downed when the duration ends. You gotta get back up and immediately ND the ending animation. However, I still wouldn't /wrist if someone told me to play Nobel. The assist is considered useless almost everywhere, but if you do it right, the Mandala Gundam becomes rather useful. To put it simply, it's like the Zeta/Mk2/Hyaku/Sazabi assist, only it's melee-ranged (hence 3 uses instead of 2). The assist will attack when you either use a (hula hoop) or "use assist" again. Unfortunately, the range is crud. However, it IS one of the few assists that does the same amount of damage as your a, and all assists have less down value than your a, so it's a nice combo starter if you can get it. Speaking of which, most people probably get ticked off by being unable to "brx3" the hula hoop. That's because they're rushing it. It's a bit annoying, but if you time it right you CAN do a "brx3", the key being that you gotta purposely put delay between shots. The range stinks, but it's still nice as a pressure tool, and IMO it's better than nothing ...
