ISS passing in the northern skies . The star it almost touches at 00:24 is the mag. 3.03 star Pherkad in Ursa Minor. Testing low light video on Canon EOS 550D , this time with Canon lens 85mm f/1.8 , setting ISO 6400, black-and-white, 1/30 sec. exposure , 25 fps ( originally at FHD1080 , then resized to HD 720 ) , lens at f/1.8 . The 50/1.4 lens is a little bit faster and will show more of the fainter stars . Recording in b/w is a good thing to reduce noise even more.
